When Bobbi Vie asked us to come out for F.A.M.E. a couple months back, we gladly and quickly accepted. We knew that it would be worth the 8 hour drive up north since Bobbi is one of the masterminds behind the Art of War Bboy jams which brought out some of the biggest names in the dance out to the quiet town of San Jose.
The first of a recurring seasonal event, the aptly named F.A.M.E. which stands for “Fashion. Art. Music. Exhibition.” contained all that and then some. Bustling with streetwear brands, DJs & bands performing on stage, art exhibits, food, karaoke, haircuts & makeup, bboy cyphers and more all leading up to the fashion show finale. It seems like a lot for one event but all aspects of the event meshed together seamlessly. If you missed out, you definitely need to come out for F.A.M.E.’s fall/winter edition.
Thanks and big ups to Bobbi Vie, The Fresh Stock and all of our new friends and Family we met at the event. Thanks for your support!… and we’re coming back soon for sure.
The beautiful DJ Thuy Vu. (She spins vinyl!!! Sexy!)
