“I graduated with an Anthropology degree from my undergrad at University of California, Irvine. Growing up with Hip-Hop, my love for the culture was a huge inspiration for everything SICK STAR. These shoots delve deeper than just the aesthetic as it is my portrayal of segments that I examined and dissected in Hip-Hop such as food mentions in the lyrics, style of wardrobe and costumes of the artists, and influences the culture has had on other media and vice versa.
